How It Works

  1. Log in to your Yolyc account (or create one)
  2. Visit your company page on Yolyc
  3. Click the “Claim this Company” button
  4. Fill out the claim form. You’ll need:
    • Your full name
    • Your LinkedIn profile URL (required — this is how we verify you’re a real person associated with the business)
    • A proof-of-ownership link — a registration page, a document, or anything that shows you own the business (optional, but it speeds up review)
    • Anything else you’d like us to know (optional)
  5. We’ll review your claim, typically within 2–3 business days, and email you either way — approved or not.

A couple of things worth knowing before you start:

  • Each account can only own one company. If you manage several businesses, you’ll need a separate account for each one — or claim one now and transfer ownership to a colleague later if your role changes.
  • If your claim isn’t approved, we’ll tell you why by email, and you’re welcome to submit a corrected claim.

Use the search on Yolyc’s homepage. If your business is missing, visit the “Add Your Company to Yolyc Directory” page and follow the instructions.

Our team reviews your claim and the proof you’ve provided, typically within 2–3 business days. If approved, you’ll get full access to edit your profile, respond to reviews, and use your Company Dashboard. If we can’t approve it, we’ll email you the reason and you’re welcome to submit an updated claim.

Not on its own. Claiming gives you ownership and full editing access; the verified badge is a Pro feature (or can be granted manually by our team for specific listings). See what’s included in Pro for the full list.

No — each Yolyc account can own one company at a time. If you need to manage multiple businesses, use a separate account for each. If ownership of a business changes hands, the current owner can transfer it to a new account from the Company Dashboard.

Yes. You’ll have full access to the Company Dashboard, where you can update your business details, manage reviews, and — if you’re on Pro — access analytics and leads.

Yes. From the Company Dashboard, the current owner can initiate a transfer to any other Yolyc account holder. The new owner confirms via a secure emailed link before the transfer completes.
